In this regard, Bonnie would have the motive to join with a new protagonist to combat the other animatronics. However, Bonnie could still have lived and just could have hid, waiting for a chance to emerge. It is hinted that FNAF: Security Breach's Bonnie was killed by Monty as an act of sabotage to get his spot on the main cast of animatronics. While his presence is not confirmed in the DLC and is purely speculative, the return of Glamrock Bonnie as a protector, much like Glamrock Freddy in the main game, would make more sense than having Chica take that role. FNAF: Security Breach's "Burntrap" ending is likely canon. However, one ending in particular serves as the most likely set-up for the DLC, which is set to drop in 2023.
